On the last Tuesday (23/07/2019), the International School of Business - University of Economics HCMC (UEH-ISB) truly had a pleasure to cooperate with one of the most well-known FMCG companies around the world – Nestlé – in order to organize a factory tour in Dong Nai province with a variety of meaningful activities for ISB students.
 
Generally speaking, Nestlé is the world’s largest food and beverage enterprise possessing more than 2000 different brands ranging from global icons to local favorites that are present in 190 counties worldwide. The company’s main purpose is to continuously enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future. Driven by this purpose, the firm wants to help shape a better world and inspire people to live healthier lives. This is how Nestlé contribute to society and ensure its long-term success.
 
ISB students were truly welcomed by the warmth and friendliness of Nestlé’s employees. In the first part of the tour, students had a chance to meet Mr. Ian Johnson – the managing director of Nestlé Trị An Factory along with some other experienced employees to introduce to us about the general information of the factory as well as specific regulations that they had to follow during the tour because safety is the most important thing that Nestlé always wants to ensure.
 
After that, ISB-ers had a factory tour to see one of the most famous product lines that is exported to other Asia countries which is Dolce Gusto – a product of coffee capsules. 
 
In the presentation part, Nestlé Vietnam had provided ISB students with numerous information about career opportunities in some particular departments including CSV (Create Shared Value), Management Trainee, Planning, HR as well as Financial Control at the factory. Besides, students were also given a lot of useful advices and practical experiences through meaningful sharing from highly professional employees at Nestlé Vietnam.
 
Furthermore, the students were exposed to and had a deeply insight understanding about Nestlé’s culture and tradition. In addition, they could enjoy several products of Nestlé such as coffee, tea, etc.
 
To summarize, thanks to such amazing company tour that ISB students had an opportunity to obtain new interesting things about new product lines of Nestlé, the process of filling and packaging products, career opportunities and enjoy the products as well as the friendliness at Nestlé Vietnam.
 
This is such an unforgettable and precious experience that will help ISB-ers have a clearer career orientation and better preparation for future jobs.
